The Robert A. and Dorothy Stender Sweet Physics Scholarship awards $4,000 per year for four years. Eligible students must have at least a 90 high school average and standardized test scores of 1170 on the SAT (EBRW and Math) or 24 on the ACT test.
While the Sweet Scholarships are primarily intended for incoming freshmen, the Scholarships can also be awarded to current physics students at Buffalo State with an overall grade point average of 3.5/4.0 or higher.
Students are considered upon admission to the college. There are no additional applications required. Students who qualify will be contacted regarding their award under separate cover, generally in May.
